Maritime Domain Awareness
MariWeb is a web enabled, high performance, high availability, secure, standards compliant Maritime Information System that is offered as an onsite, hybrid or cloud-based solution. MariWeb processes AIS data from Terrestrial AIS (T-AIS), Satellite AIS (S-AIS) systems as well as other sources of AIS data such as Vessel Traffic Services systems for more than 200,000 vessels. MariWeb complies to the specifications, guidelines and recommendations of the IMO, IALA, ITU, IHO and IEC.
MariWeb is focused on the maritime Aids to Navigation (AtoN), Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) and e-Navigation domains.
MariWeb is offered using Bespoke (deployed and licensed for one customer), Hosted (deployed, owned and operated by IMIS for a customer) and Perpetual (Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT)) commercial models.
Vessel Traffic Services
PortWeb allow standards compliant Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) systems to be put in place to allow services that range from the provision of simple information messages to ships, such as position of other traffic or meteorological hazard warnings, to extensive management of traffic within a port or waterway.
PortWeb is more than a VTS and integrates AIS, a vessel movement data entry system, Radar, CCTV, Event Manager, Meteorological and Hydrological data collection and processing system with an Electronic Chart System into a single solution. PortWeb enables the effective monitoring and management of ports ranging from small and remote ports with little but critical maritime traffic through to large ports that handle many vessel movements daily.
PortWeb enables the remote monitoring and management of ports as well as remote operations enabling Business Continuity Plans (BCP) to be effectively executed.
Port Efficiency & Management
Depending on the national jurisdiction, ports can be owned and operated by different legal entities. All ports have efficiency as a goal to reduce operational costs for both the port and the vessels that use these ports.
Various European Union (EU) projects have demonstrated the Sea Traffic Management (STM) and Port Collaborative Decision Making (PCDM) concept and techniques.
Where port efficiency and the associated safety and security with inter-port and intra-port traffic is a priority the MariWeb Voyage Manager (MVM) is a comprehensive tool that monitors and manages the movements of vessels in a port from Expected Time of Arrival (ETA), through inter-berth moments to Actual Time of Departure (ATD) including the interactions with pilot boats and tugs boats.

Maritime Domain Awareness
Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) systems are wide area systems that monitor the maritime traffic within a large area typically this is a national system or some large area within the national maritime domain.
Data are collected from a range of sensors and systems that includes:
-
Terrestrial AIS base stations and AIS receivers (T-AIS)
-
Satellite AIS data feeds (S-AIS)
-
Various Vessel Traffic Systems within the area of interest

Vessel Traffic Services
PortWeb has a comprehensive suite of services and connects a wide range of sensors that enables the monitoring and management of vessels within ports and waterways. Each operators position can have more than one independent Electronic Chart System allowing the monitoring and / or management of more than one area simultaneously. PortWeb includes comprehensive AIS AtoN management systems. The ability to send and receive a wide range of AIS messages including the IMO Circular SN.1 289 and the inclusion of the Voyage Manager services is unique to the PortWeb VTS.

Remote Port Monitoring and Management
PortWeb has been designed to enable the monitoring of small and / or remote ports from a central location by installing just the sensors (radar, AIS receivers, CCTV and weather sensors) in the remote port. These sensors are connected via the Internet and allow the monitoring and / or management of that port from a wide range of remote locations with all of the features that are available to a large port Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) system.

Aids to Navigation monitoring and management
MariWeb has a comprehensive AIS Aids to Navigation (AtoN) capability ranging from monitoring systems using the specified AIS AtoN messages through to the more focused GLA and Zenilight AIS monitoring messages. MariWeb enables the use of encrypted AIS AtoN and chained AIS AtoN configuration.
MariWeb enables the user to configure virtual and synthetic AIS AtoN using any AIS base station. The transmitting schedule and AIS base station to be used for the transmission can be adjusted at will.

Off Shore Energy monitoring and management
PortWeb has a comprehensive suite of services that enables the monitoring of offshore wind farms using redundant AIS base stations. The PortWeb system can mark the offshore wind farm using virtual AIS AtoN. All vessels entering the initial warning zone are detected and sent a preconfigured warning message and suitable alarms are raised with the monitoring authority. PortWeb sensors and / or can be installed on an offshore oil or gas platform to enhance safety and meeting local regulations.

Port Information Management System
The Voyage Manager, the Port Information Management System, available within MariWeb and PortWeb is a sea to berth, berth to berth and berth to sea tracking and information collection application that allows authorities to efficiently use information gathered to monitor, manage and report of the port activities. The Voyage Manager can be configured and used by the ports maritime information service providers to collect and shore information with the port community leading to higher efficiency.

Maritime natural environment monitoring and management
The MariWeb system allows the connection of both AIS and radar sensors. This allows the detection of vessels entering and their activity within environmentally sensitive areas. The events trigger a range of configurable alerts that can be used to alert those monitoring these areas of this activity. Automated messages can be sent via AIS to vessel approaching and entering environmentally sensitive areas with instruction as to the actions required.

E-Navigation
MariWeb encodes and decodes all specified and registered AIS centric messages including the IMO Circular SN.1 289 messages enabling the provision of a wide range of services to the maritime domain. The inclusion of the Internet of Things (IoT) to collect meteorological and hydrological data to be used in the construction and transmission of these IMO messages significantly enhances the services available.

World class support
IMIS has been providing world class support to a wide range of maritime authorities and commercial operators over the last 20 years of operation. The IMIS cloud-based systems enjoy greater than 99.9% availability when used with a suitable edge node.
The IMIS support is provided by using the IMIS Support System (ISS), a cloud-based tool. The ISS ensures that all queries and issues are promptly dealt with and remain available to the user to review and refer to at any time in the future.

Maritime Security monitoring
MariWeb has a comprehensive event manager allows a wide range of events and associated alerts to be configured. These alerts allow the protection of undersea cables, pipelines and similar valuable assets that need to be protected. Once the protected areas are breached and the activity inside these areas is outside the bounds of what is allowed, the alerts are triggered allowing further action.
The MariWeb Security Application mitigates any issues with the data and can be configured to block any traffic that is not in the correct format or using approved message structures.
