The IMIS focus from inception was to provide Maritime Information System (MIS) to governmental and large commercial organisations and that remains the focus to this day. The flagship product, MariWeb, was first released as MariWeb version 1 in 2004. In January 2020, IMIS released its latest version, MariWeb version 8, with higher performance and a wide range of features. IMIS continues to expand its product capability to address a wider section of the maritime environment.

MariWeb version 1 was installed in Croatia in 2004 and since that time, MariWeb has been installed on all continents in the world apart from Antarctica. Current customers utilise the MariWeb system using a variety of commercial models ranging from Hosted MariWeb (a cloud based solution) through to Bespoke MariWeb supplied as a turn key project.

IMIS has invested in a private cloud environment for the central Hosted MariWeb system which is owned, operated and supported by IMIS in a well-resourced, secure, commercial data centre with all primary services being redundant.
