e-Navigation
MariWeb encodes and decodes all specified and registered AIS centric messages including the IMO Circular SN.1 289 messages enabling the provision of a wide range of e-Navigation type services to the maritime domain. The inclusion of IoT to collect meteorological and hydrographic data to be used in the construction and transmission of these IMO messages significantly enhances the services available.
The ability of MariWeb to create, monitor and manage a wide range of physical and virtual services uses all the published and available message suites including those noted in the ITU, IALA and IMO domains.
As the Maritime Autonomous Surface Ship (MASS) environment continues to increase, the role that e-Navigation services play will change and become refined to support the MASS environment.
These services are driving the shore side ‘Single Window’ concept that MariWeb and PortWeb have a significant role in supporting.
